Heritage Tuesdays 2026: "Communities as active bearers in the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage"
As part of the fourth edition of Heritage Tuesdays, a lecture series run by the Restoration Service of the Provincial Council of Álava, María Pía Timón Tiemblo will discuss the role of bearer communities in intangible cultural heritage: how they are bound up with its defining features and how they pass it on and keep it alive. Open to anyone interested in heritage conservation, the talk takes place on Tuesday 24 November at 19:00 in the auditorium of the Casa de Cultura Ignacio Aldecoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz, with free entry.
