Marnie

Cineteca Madrid screens Hitchcock's Marnie, a film poised between melodrama and nightmare in which deeply ambiguous characters trade guilt and desire, pushing the audience into an uncomfortable moral stance. Its handling of colour, framing and shifting points of view is set in dialogue with the cinema of Sonbert, whose editing replaces narrative with an open web of correspondences. The screening on 17 October 2026 will be introduced by Francisco Algarín and Carlos Saldaña, curators of the series. Paid admission.
