Bad handwriting
An introductory workshop on Gothic calligraphy at Matadero Madrid on 24 October 2026. Over an hour and a half, participants start from scratch to understand the logic of this dense, vertical script, found in old manuscripts as well as in music, tattooing, fashion and graphic design. Using paper, ink and a flat-nibbed tool, they will practise the basic shapes and finish by composing a word or a small calligraphic piece of their own. No good handwriting is needed. Led by Héctor Marcs and organised by Súper Gráficas. Free admission with prior registration.
