A talk in the 34th Autumn Lecture Series at the Museo de San Isidro. Los Orígenes de Madrid, on 29 October 2026 at 6:30 pm. Jesús Quílez Bielsa will discuss how, around the 7th century BC, Greek thinkers set out to explain the world through reason rather than myth, and how their insights went on to inspire physicists and mathematicians.
