Lizeoteka: "Vivir la tierra"
The Lizeoteka film series screens "Vivir la tierra" (Sheng xi zhi dia), a 2025 Chinese family drama written and directed by Huo Meng, running 132 minutes. It follows Chuang, a ten-year-old boy raised in his home village by uncles, aunts and grandparents while his parents work in the city. Through births, weddings and funerals, centuries of rural tradition collide with China's rapid change in the early 1990s. The screening takes place on 16 October 2026 at 20:00 at Lizeo Antzokia in Gernika-Lumo. Tickets cost 6 €.
