A musical comedy in the spirit of medieval minstrels, this show brings back the Archpriest of Hita, a cleric and poet who, between failed sermons and racy verses, once again gets tangled up in love affairs, fables and romantic musings. Blending humour, original songs and passages from the classic text with present-day language, it explores desire and guilt, body and soul, the divine and the earthly, turning the audience into the Archpriest's accomplices. Premiered at the Festival Clásicos de Alcalá 2026, it is performed on 16 October 2026 at 19:00 at the Centro Cultural Lope de Vega (Puente de Vallecas) in Madrid. Free admission.
