"Liban/guerre" + "A drone story"
On 28 November at 11:30, Museo San Telmo in San Sebastián hosts a free screening of two films: Liban/guerre by Rania Stephan (2006, 47 minutes) and A drone story by Laura Menassa (2024, 10 minutes). Afterwards, Margaux Chalançon, an archivist, photographer and restorer of films by Arab filmmakers such as Mai Masri, Jocelyne Saab and Kais al-Zubaidi, will talk with Palmira Sabaté, curator of the installation Habitar la imagen. Diarios de resistencia. Drawing on the experience of restoring images made in wartime, they will discuss the diary as a form of testimony and its political and poetic reach. The session is linked to that installation and to the programme on the STM-GCBC photobook collection.
