Let Our Mountains Live
Cineteca Madrid hosts the Spanish premiere of Let Our Mountains Live, a documentary following Sámi communities in Norway as they fight the state over one of Europe's largest wind power projects, built on the grazing lands their culture depends on. Although the Supreme Court ruled that the project violates their rights, the turbines remain. The film raises questions about climate justice, power and Indigenous resistance, and about who pays the cost of the green transition. The screening takes place on 21 October 2026 at 8:00 pm; admission is paid.
