"Leonora"
A theatre piece written and directed by Alberto Conejero offering a free, poetic approach to the surrealist painter, sculptor and writer Leonora Carrington, focusing on her youth and her time in Spain just after the Civil War. Drawing on her memoir "Memorias de abajo", it explores the birth of artistic vocation, psychiatric violence and imagination, as a tribute to her rebellion and longing for freedom. Performed by Natalia Huarte, with music by Luis Miguel Cobo. On 6 November 2026 at 19:30 at Sala BBK in Bilbao. Tickets: €18.
