L'elisir d'amore — Gaetano Donizetti
L'Auditori de Cornellà stages Gaetano Donizetti's comic opera on 30 October 2026 at 7 pm, a gem of Italian bel canto. Naive Nemorino loves the wealthy, clever Adina and turns to a so-called love potion sold by the quack Dulcamara, setting off a string of funny and tender mix-ups. The cast features Manuel de Diego, Laura Gibert, Pau Armengol, Sebastià Serra and Mireia Tarragó, with the Cor Amics de l'Òpera de Sabadell and the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, conducted by Daniel Gil de Tejada and staged by Pau Monterde. Sung in Italian with Catalan surtitles; about 2 hours 35 minutes including an interval. A pre-performance talk takes place at 5.15 pm in the Foyer. Tickets from €18 to €38.
