The Count pursues Susanna, the fiancée of his servant Fígaro, but Fígaro, Susanna and the Countess join forces to foil his plans and expose his infidelity. Through misunderstandings, family revelations and confusion in the palace garden, the story leads to the couple’s reconciliation and the lovers’ wedding.
