La Veronal: "La mort i la primavera"
The dance company La Veronal, directed by choreographer Marcos Morau, takes on La mort i la primavera, Mercè Rodoreda's unfinished novel published after her death. The piece builds a world of images, gestures and bodies exploring life and death, in a staging as beautiful and spectacular as it is dark. Premiered successfully in Venice, it features original music by Maria Arnal, who also performs. The show takes place on 10 October 2026 at 19:00 at Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao. Tickets cost 23 to 45 €. Recommended for ages 16 and over.
