La Ruta del Arte BBK: "Animalario"
La Ruta del Arte BBK stops in Berriz from 16 to 22 November 2026 with its seventh edition, Animalario: a travelling open-air exhibition of panels reproducing 38 works from the museum's collection in which animals take centre stage. Curated by José Luis Merino Gorospe, it brings together painting, printmaking, posters, photography and applied arts by artists such as Paul de Vos, Jacob Jordaens, Ignacio Zuloaga, Rosa Bonheur, Richard Avedon, Guerrilla Girls and Joseph Beuys, exploring the symbolic role of animals in art. Each work comes with commentary in Basque and Spanish, with an English version available free via QR code.
