"The Queen of the Arga"
Estefanía de Paz Asín tells the story of Remigia Echarren, a tightrope walker from Pamplona who was well known between the 19th and 20th centuries, marking one hundred years since her death. Nicknamed the Queen of the Arga, Mademoiselle Agustini and the Queen of the Rope, she was an exceptional artist who walked at great heights when such feats had few precedents. The author researched her life and, where the archives fall silent, filled the gaps with her own creative work. It takes place on 12 December 2026 at 19:30 at Sala Imanol Larzabal (Lugaritz) in San Sebastián. Tickets cost 12 €.
