"La prodigiosa zapatera"
Directed by Manuel Segovia, winner of Spain's National Dance Award, this comic ballet offers an innovative take on Federico García Lorca's "La zapatera prodigiosa". Rooted in open-form Spanish stage dance, it blends humour, lyricism, immersive music, touches of commedia dell'arte and projection mapping. The story follows a brave, free-spirited shoemaker's wife who defies the fate imposed on her, in a piece that speaks to women's freedom. The performance takes place on 21 November 2026 at 20:00 at the Centro de Artes Avenida de Cintruénigo. Tickets cost €12.
