The Stone
A stage play poised between drama and comedy that explores the artist's vulnerability in the face of the art market's mechanisms. Echoing Ortega y Gasset, it raises questions about creative freedom, censorship and self-censorship, power struggles, ethics and morality, hinting that the rules of the game might not be fixed after all. Written and directed by Alexandra Nicod, with Dolores Garayalde as assistant director and producer, and performed by Esther Acevedo and Carles Moreu. Fridays at 7:00 pm at CentroCentro, Madrid, from 6 to 27 November 2026. Tickets: 7 euros.
