'La maja robada o El museo de los cuadros vacíos' (VALQUIRIA TEATRO)
Valquiria Teatro brings this tragicomedy by Jesús Torres to the Teatro Auditorio Gonzalo Menéndez Pidal in El Espinar, directed by Carlos Martínez-Abarca and performed by Alba Frechilla and María Negro. In post-war Spain, Mercedes and Esperanza pose as a marchioness and her maid to get into the Prado Museum and steal works by Goya and El Greco. The play is inspired by the real case of María Teresa Álvarez Herreros de Tejada. The performance is on 10 October 2026 at 20:00 and lasts 90 minutes. Tickets cost 12 euros in advance and 15 euros at the box office. Part of the Red de Teatros de Castilla y León programme.
