'La maja robada o El museo de los cuadros vacíos' (VALQUIRIA TEATRO)
A play between comedy and drama telling how two women strip the Prado Museum with nothing more than a fake visiting card. Mercedes and Esperanza, ravaged by war, live two invented lives, as the Marquesa de Arnuossa and her maid Sophie, and steal works by Goya or El Greco to sell on the black market. It is inspired by the true story of María Teresa Álvarez Herreros de Tejada. It takes place on 15 November 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Casa de Cultura in Villanubla; tickets cost 2 euros.
