"La fuerza del silencio" (screening and discussion)

As part of Buna, the coffee rite day organised by Emakumeen Etxea with Egoaizia, LuzNorte Films and Trintxer Kulturala, Cines Niessen in Errenteria hosts a screening of Samuel Vela's documentary on 17 October at 18:00, followed by a discussion. The film follows Letebirhan, a 17-year-old whose life was shattered by war: abducted, a survivor of sexual violence and a mother rejected by her community and family. Her future rests on the bread she bakes and on the ancestral coffee ceremony, where women turn silence into an act of resistance and sisterhood.
