'La escuela de los vicios' (MORFEO TEATRO)
Morfeo Teatro brings to the Teatro Municipal Sarabia in Carrión de los Condes a sharp comedy based on Quevedo's satires and political writings. An extravagant lame devil trains two fools in lying, cheating, stealing and climbing the ladder until they become Minister and Magistrate, while keeping the post of Banker for himself. With a contemporary set, period costumes and nods to Goya's Black Paintings, the farce mocks the corruption of those in power, with clear echoes of today. Performance on 5 December 2026 at 8:00 pm; tickets 10 and 12 euros.
