La Baula — Songs in the shade
La Baula, a six-piece group of musicians with long experience in roots music, presents a concert devoted to Catalonia's traditional song repertoire. The band brings back ballads, old couplets and epic songs, gathered from direct witnesses or through research, and performs them in new arrangements so audiences can make them their own. The concert takes place on 18 October 2026 at 6 pm at Fàbrica Vella - Espai Cultural in Sallent. Tickets cost €12. The event is part of Programa.cat, backed by the Departament de Cultura of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the provincial councils of Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona.
