Klasikoak 2026: "La amiga"
Screening of "La amiga" (1988), directed by Jeanine Meerapfel, as part of the Basque Film Archive's Klasikoak 2026 series, introduced by the director herself. The film follows María and Raquel, two friends who dreamed of becoming actresses: in 1976, under Argentina's dictatorship, the military abducts María's son and she becomes one of the first Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, while Raquel emigrates to Germany. Starring Liv Ullmann, Cipe Lincovsky and Federico Luppi. In Spanish and German with Spanish subtitles, 110 minutes. 20 November 2026 at 19:00 at Tabakalera, San Sebastián. Tickets: €4.50.
