Screening of "La amiga" (1988), directed by Jeanine Meerapfel, as part of the Filmoteca Vasca's Klasikoak 2026 series. The film follows María and Raquel, friends who dreamed of becoming actresses: Raquel emigrates to Germany, while María, after the military abducts her eldest son in 1976, becomes one of the first Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo.
