Klasikoak 2026: "El cebo"
The Basque Film Archive (Filmoteca Vasca) screens "El cebo", directed by Ladislao Vajda in 1958, as part of its Klasikoak 2026 series. When a girl is found murdered in the woods near a small Swiss village, suspicion falls on the old peddler who discovered the body; only Inspector Matthäi, who has just retired, doubts his guilt. The cast includes Heinz Rühmann, Michel Simon and Siegfried Lowitz. Shown in German with Spanish subtitles. The screening takes place on 7 November 2026 at 19:00 at the Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao; tickets cost €3.50.
