Klasikoak 2026: "El cebo"
A screening of "El cebo", directed by Ladislao Vajda in 1958, as part of the Basque Film Archive's Klasikoak 2026 series. In a small Swiss village, a girl is found murdered in the woods, and suspicion immediately falls on the old peddler who discovered the body. Only Inspector Matthäi, who has just retired, doubts his guilt as the case passes to a colleague. This German production is shown in German with Spanish subtitles and stars Heinz Rühmann, Michel Simon and Siegfried Lowitz, among others. The session takes place on 4 November 2026 at 19:00 at Artium Museoa in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Tickets: €3.50.
