"Kandida"

A stage play written and directed by Patxo Telleria, starring Miren Gaztañaga, Nerea Mazo and Mikel Martinez. On the night Clara launches her novel, Manuela, the evicted elderly woman who inspired her character, turns up at her door asking to be taken in, just as happens in the book. Pressed by her publisher, who marketed the novel as autofiction, Clara reluctantly agrees: if readers learn she did the opposite in real life, the investment and her reputation as a writer are at stake. Performed on 25 October 2026 at Sala BBK in Bilbao.
