"Kandida"
A stage play written and directed by Patxo Telleria, starring Miren Gaztañaga, Nerea Mazo and Mikel Martinez. On the night her novel is launched, writer Clara is visited by Manuela, the evicted elderly woman who inspired her character, asking to be taken in just as in the book. Pressed by her publisher, Clara reluctantly agrees: the novel was marketed as autofiction, and if readers learn she did the opposite in real life, the investment and her reputation are at stake. Performed on 28 December 2026 at Zaraia Aretoa in Aretxabaleta.
