"Kandida"

A stage play written and directed by Patxo Telleria, starring Miren Gaztañaga, Nerea Mazo and Mikel Martinez. On the night her novel is launched, Clara finds Manuela at her door: the evicted elderly woman who inspired her character, asking to be taken in just as the heroine does in the book. Pressed by her publisher, who marketed the novel as autofiction and printed a large run, Clara reluctantly agrees, since revealing that she did the opposite in real life would put the investment and her reputation at risk. Performed on 3 December 2026 at Santa Ana Udal Antzokia in Oñati.
