"Kandida"
A stage play written and directed by Patxo Telleria, starring Miren Gaztañaga, Nerea Mazo and Mikel Martinez. On the night her novel is launched, writer Clara gets a visit from Manuela, an evicted elderly woman who inspired her protagonist and who asks to be taken in, just as the character is in the book. Pressed by her publisher, Clara reluctantly agrees: the novel was marketed as autofiction, and if readers learn she did the opposite in real life, the investment and her reputation are at stake. Performed on 13 March 2027 at Lonbo Aretoa in Arrigorriaga.
