"Kandida"

A stage play written and directed by Patxo Telleria, starring Miren Gaztañaga, Nerea Mazo and Mikel Martinez. On the night Clara launches her novel, Manuela turns up at her door: the evicted elderly woman who inspired her character, whom she has not seen in over two years. Manuela asks to be taken in, just as happens in the book. Urged by her publisher, Clara reluctantly agrees, since the novel was marketed as autofiction and, if readers learn she did the opposite in real life, the investment and her reputation are at stake. Performed on 23 January 2027 at Amaia KZ in Irun.
