European Heritage Days 2026: "Bajura: Ondarea arriskuan (2016-2026)"
A talk held as part of the European Heritage Days at the Museo del Pescador in Bermeo. In 2016, J.A. Apraiz Koiote documented the state of Bermeo's inshore fishing fleet in Arrantzaleak eta Itsasontziak lanean. Ten years on, under the motto "Eutsi, berpiztu eta berrimajinatu", he revisits a decade that has called the survival of coastal fishing into question. The session invites the audience to reimagine artisanal fishing so that this heritage does not become a mere museum piece. It takes place on 15 October 2026, from 18:00 to 20:00. Free admission with mandatory booking, limited capacity. Organised by the Museo del Pescador.
