European Heritage Days 2026: "Bermeo Town Hall: Reviving the building"
As part of the European Heritage Days, architect Arkaitz Izarra will explain how Bermeo Town Hall was brought back to life. The building was affected by the major fire that struck the Old Town on 11 April 2011, leaving 70 residents homeless, and only resumed its usual role in 2025. Izarra will also share his personal involvement in the project. The talk takes place on 20 October 2026, from 19:00 to 20:00, in Bermeo. Free admission with prior booking. Organised by the Arrantzaleen Museoa.
