Javier Vercher Quartet

As part of JAZZMADRID, the autumn festival that brings leading jazz figures to Madrid, CentroCentro hosts Madrid-born saxophonist Javier Vercher and his quartet on 10 November 2026, with Iñigo Ruiz de Gordejuela on piano, Deejay Foster on double bass and Marc Miralta on drums. Trained in Valencia and at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Vercher spent almost a decade in New York, working with musicians such as Larry Grenadier, Lionel Loueke and Robert Glasper. His music blends accessible melodies, improvisational freedom and the post-Coltrane tradition. He was named Revelation at the Tete Montoliu-SGAE Jazz Biennial in 2006. General admission: 5 euros.
