"Iruña 2.0"
On 15 November 2026 at 19:30, the Casa de Cultura de Villava hosts "Iruña 2.0", a tragicomedy that looks back on the last 25 years of Pamplona to reflect on freedom, justice and the human condition. The piece draws on Charlie, the Taconera monkey who lived in the city in the 1980s and made local headlines for his politically incorrect behaviour. Blending fantasy and documentation, it uses sharp humour and Kafkaesque touches. Directed by Ángel Sagués and performed by Itsaso Etxeberria Monreal and Garazi San Martin Boj.
