"Impureza"
Impureza is a multidisciplinary show that brings flamenco dance together with African rhythms through a story and audiovisual projections. The piece looks at popular festivities and gatherings born from cultural bridges, celebrating what is mixed and patched together. Dancer Askoa Etxebarrieta, known as la Pulga, handles choreographic and artistic direction and performs, while Sonia Estévez, nominated for the 2024 Goya Awards for Txotxongiloa, creates the audiovisual work. Idoia Zabaleta provides outside advice. The performance takes place on 7 November 2026 at Lasarte Aretoa in Igorre.
