Imagination and desire in the digital society

A conversation with filmmaker Gala Hernández López, whose films look at how the internet and digital technologies are reshaping collective imagination, from misogynistic drifts among young people to the promises of individual sovereignty and utopian futures sold by tech companies. The talk will draw on video clips, images and web pages to reflect on how digital technology affects individual, material and emotional desire in the 21st century.
