"Hegoak"
Choreographer and dancer Mizel Théret brings a new version of his piece Hegoak, first performed in Biarritz at the Le temps d'aimer la danse festival, to Chillida Leku in Hernani. After a seven-day residency at the museum, he shares with the audience research inspired by Chillida's sculpture Espíritu de los pájaros II. Performed without music, the dance finds its own rhythm by listening to silence and the site's surrounding sounds. Born in Hazparne in 1959, Théret is known for a sober, minimalist dance focused on memory. The performance takes place on 9 October 2026 at 19:00, with free admission until capacity is reached.
