Getxo Eszena 2026: "Yo solo quiero irme a Francia"
Part of the Getxo Eszena 2026 programme, this bittersweet comedy is written and directed by Elisabeth Larena and stars María Galiana, Nieve de Medina, Anna Mayo and María Roja. At Pilar's wake, two women uncover a family history full of secrets, crossed identities and unexpected bonds. Set in the post-war years, the play blends humour and magic to explore memory, abandonment, the emotional legacy passed between generations and the search for freedom and one's place.
