"Gazte Artea Ezkerraldean 2026" (Portugalete)
Portugalete hosts the first stop of the 14th edition of Gazte Artea Ezkerraldean from 2 to 28 October, a touring exhibition showcasing four young artists living in the area: Alec Butrón Gozalez, Sara Fuica Gañan, Ysabela Sacabarrozzi and Arrate Perez Ahumada. The show brings together painting, sculpture and works engaging with everyday materials, the body, identity and landscape. Promoted by the Ezkerraldea town councils with support from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, the project helps emerging talent reach professional art circuits. It then moves on to Barakaldo, Sestao and Santurtzi until 29 January 2027. Free admission.
