FusionArte 2026: HARRIBITXI
As part of the FusionArte 2026 festival, the duo Harribitxi, Iker Álvarez González and Aitor Urquiza, present a show that treats the txistu and traditional music as a living, contemporary art. They combine their own new compositions with well-known pieces from the traditional and popular repertoire in a dynamic format, pairing the txistu with instruments from its own family and from other cultures, such as psaltery, cajón, Indian shruti box, jaw harp, guitar and mandolin. In Alegría-Dulantzi they are joined by local dance, theatre and choir groups for a participatory, multidisciplinary performance. It takes place on 25 October 2026 at 19:30 at the Auditorio Txema Blasco; tickets cost 5 €.
