"Photographs that come back to life"
Throughout October 2026, the Museo San Telmo in San Sebastián hosts an installation in which old photographs are set in motion, turned into videos with artificial intelligence. The piece invites visitors to view images as both personal and collective memory, and to reflect on how they are preserved, reinterpreted and passed on to future generations. Linked to the Diario Vasco project Ipuskoa bizi, it is part of the European Heritage Days programme. It is located at the entrance to the temporary exhibitions and open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 to 20:00, from 1 to 31 October. Admission: €10.
