Sant Ermengol Fair
La Seu d'Urgell hosts the Sant Ermengol Fair from 16 to 18 October 2026 at various venues around the town. First recorded in 1048, it is regarded as the earliest documented fair on the Iberian Peninsula, a result of the town's location in the heart of the Pyrenees at a key crossroads. The event also includes the Fira de Formatges Artesans dels Pirineus, an international food fair where Catalan, Aragonese, Basque, Navarrese and French producers showcase Pyrenean cheeses. A cultural programme is organised around the fair. Paid event.
