Alcover Bandits Fair
From 9 to 12 October 2026, Alcover hosts the 24th edition of its Bandits Fair, a historical re-enactment festival in the Camp de Tarragona that revives the memory of Catalan banditry in the 16th and 17th centuries. The town's streets fill with theatrical shows, period characters, a craft and food market, traditional trade demonstrations, exhibitions, family activities, food areas and street entertainment. Local participation is central, with decorated streets and shop windows, costume-making workshops and the popular Dansa de la Fira. Chef Carme Ruscalleda will give this year's opening proclamation. Activities take place at various locations; this is a paid event.
