Durango Festivities 2026: "Otempodiz" + "UN’WE"
A double dance bill by Asier Zabaleta, part of the San Faustos festivities in Durango, on 11 October 2026 at 18:30, free admission. "UN’WE", a Changana word meaning "just one", looks at a world connected by social media yet marked by growing inequality. "Otempodiz" contrasts the Western view of time, measured and always scarce, with an African view of time as something lived and inhabited, celebrating dance as a way to live fully in the present. Performed by Fenias Nhumaio and Deissane Machava, with music by Kiko Klaus for "UN’WE". Produced by ERTZA Sorkuntza Artistikoa.
