Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026: "Verborrea"
Part of the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026, Verborrea is a wild tragicomedy about society's dark side. It follows the survivors of an extreme 1980s punk band: former members, their manager and an old fan, holed up in the crumbling house the singer, Segismundo Tóxico, inherited in Madrid's Sierra Norte. Echoing Pinter and McDonagh as well as Buñuel and Gutiérrez Solana, the play portrays a past that refuses to die. Performance on 20 November 2026, 19:30 to 21:10, at Félix Petite Antzokia.
