Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026: "Teoria King Kong"
As part of the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026, this stage adaptation of Virginie Despentes's feminist essay sees the French writer and filmmaker draw on her own experience to address rape, prostitution, pornography, desire and motherhood. The show speaks directly to the audience and raises unresolved debates, such as abolition versus regulation, presenting feminism as many voices. It is the play's Basque Country premiere. The performance takes place on 11 November 2026, from 19:30 to 20:45, at Teatro Jesús Ibáñez de Matauco. Tickets cost 15 €. A meeting with the artistic team follows the show.
