Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026: "Teatro da mangiare?"
As part of the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026, a company of Italian farmer-actors presents Teatro da mangiare?, an autobiographical confession staged around a table where a real meal is cooked and eaten using produce from their own farm. Premiered at Volterrateatro in 2000, it has had over 1,300 performances across Italy and Europe. Conceived by Paola Berselli and Stefano Pasquini, directed by Pasquini, and performed by Berselli, Mauricio Ferraresi and Pasquini. The pasta contains gluten, but other foods are available. 23 October 2026 at 19:30, Teatro Jesús Ibáñez de Matauco. Tickets: €18.
