Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026: "Rigor Mortis"
A comedy of errors programmed within the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026. Grandfather Rufino has died with his mouth open, and Grandma won't let anyone see him like that. Helped by a rather unusual housemate, she will do whatever it takes for rigor mortis to set in with his mouth shut, all while keeping up appearances before her daughter and granddaughter. Four women, a corpse and secrets bound to come out. The play was selected for ANTZ3RKIZ's «Antzerkigintza berriak-Nuevas dramaturgias» programme. Performance on 19 November 2026, 19:30 to 20:45, at Teatro Jesús Ibáñez de Matauco. Tickets: €15.
