Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026: "Las hijas de Bernarda"
As part of the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival, the company Taiat Dansa brings its take on Lorca's classic to the Félix Petite Antzokia. Creators Meritxell Barberá and Inma García keep Bernarda unseen, focusing instead on her five daughters, their confinement and the moral control that binds them. The piece blends dance, live music, theatre, film, installation and visual art, combining original texts with fragments by Lorca. The performance runs on 29 October 2026 from 19:30 to 20:45 and is followed by a meeting with the artistic team. Tickets: €18.
