Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026: "El brote"
As part of the Vitoria-Gasteiz International Theatre Festival 2026, El brote is a comic, metatheatrical monologue starring Roberto Peloni. An actor begins to lose track of where fiction ends and reality begins, and grows suspicious of whoever is writing his life, in a sharp look at contemporary obsessions and neuroses. Premiered in 2023 at the Teatro del Pueblo in Buenos Aires, the play has won the A.C.E, Estrella de Mar, Trinidad Guevara and EEBA awards. Performance on 17 October 2026, 19:30 to 21:00, at Félix Petite Antzokia. Tickets: €20. The show includes strobe lighting.
